Activate Your Handstand: The Complete Training

Activate Your Handstand Complete Training includes a 10-video series designed to give you all the tools you need to practice handstand. Organized in a way that foundations and alignment are separated from practice along videos so you can get the most out of your time. Each of these videos starts with core drills to prep and train your body for the day's handstand practice. Your bonus video teaches you how to fall out safely and train yourself away from using the wall. Each video is about 10-15 minutes along so you can fit it right into your schedule without taking up too much time. Efficiency and consistency are keys to a sustainable handstand practice. The Complete Training includes not only the 10 video series, but 4, 90 minute Live trainings with Cathy, supplemental e-book and calendar templates. Live Training Dates: April 7, 14, 21, 24, 28

  • Video 1: L-Pose

    This video begins with core work and shoulder stability drills so you can find a stable and strong handstand. Your handstand will focus on L-pose alignment and holds against the wall.

  • Video 2: Kick Up and Wall Balance

    In this practice video you'll focus on hollow body core work, learn how to train your body into kicking up efficiently in alignment and how to best use the wall to learn to balance.

    Your core work will focus on building strength in your glutei medius muscles to increase the range of motion for your wide leg straddle handstand. Straddle handstands will open your hips and set the foundation for other leg shapes and entrances in handstands.

  • Video 6: The Negative

    The negative refers to slowing down your lower from your handstand. Working your negative will build more strength and control in your handstands. It will also get you prepared to learn press-up handstand.
